5 Low-Maintenance Looks From NYFW That You Can Wear Everyday
Runway makeup has always been tricky to wear–the crazy looks might be too much for a normal day. Sure, it’s all stunning to look at, but we’re mostly after ones that we can actually wear everyday. Luckily, what went down the NYFW Fall 2017 runways were gorgeous looks that are surprisingly easy to pull off (not to mention, low-maintenance). Below, we rounded up the most wearable looks that we’re ready to try, stat!
1. Monochrome Burgundy

Other than the sexy lingeries at La Perla, what actually stood out was the makeup. The models paraded in matching burgundy eyes and lips. While this look seems edgy and sultry, it can still be pulled off by day because it’s really just the lips that have a bold color. The rest are kept light and easy. To snag this look, just lightly dab your lids with a burgundy shadow for that soft flush.

2. Orange Spice

Although Topshop Unique took inspiration from the 90s night out look, this can definitely be pulled off by day. To spruce up your everyday face, opt for orange-red lips, peach blush, and clumped mascara.

3. Rosy Lips

Dewy skin and rosy lips are all you need for that gorgeous daily look as seen at Temperley London. It’s easy and fuss-free– fit for the daily hustle.

4. Pink All-Over

Luminous finishes were on every model’s face during Fashion week, and even more so at Emilia Wickstead’s runway. Keep your look fresh and glowy by going pink all-over–nothing is as fresh to the eyes than this hue! To try out this look, pick a baby pink blush shade, and swipe it both on your cheeks and lids.

5. Subtle Flush

Weekday mornings are often crazy, giving you less time to actually do a proper routine. So here’s a perfect 3-step formula we learned from Erin Fetherston: bold brows, clumpy lashes, and gradient lips. Simply dab on your favorite lip and cheek tint on your inner lip area to achieve that gradient lip style.
