If there’s one word to describe the street style at Spring 2018 Fashion Week, it would none other than be trendy. Unconventional style was exhibited on the streets of Milan, Paris, London, and New York. Clearly, it’s the perfect reference for our transitional looks as the season is almost coming to an end.
Here are 5 street style trends to try for your next #OOTDs:
1. LIGHT AND BRIGHT
Color was all the rage on the runway as seen on Acne Studios, Rochas, and Michael Kors, and it made power suits look a little less serious for the streets.
Sheer might be a bit out of place for the fall weather but the answer to pulling it off is through layering. As seen on the streets this fashion month, sheer pieces were paired with mini dresses, and it was the perfect combo for an ultra-romantic look.
3. SNAKE SKIN
Statement tees were still in play this season, but it was fused with bedazzled, snake-skin co-ords. Take a page from Gucci and head to the eccentric route!
Belt bags are definitely the biggest accessory trend this season. But apart from keeping you hands-free, these hip-hugging bags work great in seamlessly cinching your waist too.
5. FASHION ROYALTY
Designer Virgil Abloh took Princess Diana as his ultimate inspiration for Off-White S/S ’18 and the streets followed suit. Soon, off-shoulder LBDs, voluminous blouses, and skirt suits were everywhere and it didn’t fail to be impactful.
