Whether it’s on It’s Showtime or Gandang Gabi Vice, Vice Ganda’s look is never complete without a bold–or rather, unkabogable–pout that’s meant to be scene-stealing, just like his style and attitude. “Beauty is an emotion; it’s an attitude that everyone must have,” the comedian shares. So when we heard about Vice’s first makeup brand, it was fitting to know that he started his line with one beauty staple: lipsticks.
“Kahit wala kang mascara, brows, contour, or eyeshadow, basta may lipstick ka, buhay yung muhka mo. But if you have everything on except lipstick, your face looks dull. So for me, lipstick is the most important,” Vice explains.

1. The lipsticks come with witty, Vice-approved names
The moment Vice Ganda revealed the lipsticks’ quirky names such as ‘Showtime’, ‘Hayabayabayu’, and ‘Kering Keri’, it was almost too impossible not to smile just by hearing it. “Since it’s carrying my name and it’s my line, it has to be me. Yun yung mga shades na ginagamit ko talaga. It has to be Vice Ganda. May story yun eh pati yung mga pangalan. Gusto ko ma experience ng mga tao yung shade. Parang yung ‘Hayabayabu’, marinig niyo lang at mapapangiti na kayo. Kapag suot mo yun, in love at masaya ka at di ka mahihiya.”
2. It’s all cruelty-free!
“That’s how we do makeup now”, says Vice. True enough, more brands today are heading to the 100% cruelty-free route, and it’s one way to catch the hearts of many beauty junkies.
3. The lip kits are incredibly smudge-proof
Vice’s Phenomenal Lip Kits are here, and it just might give Kylie Jenner a run for her money. Its long-lasting formula caught our attention the most as it literally won’t leave any lip marks on your cup. It glides smoothly when applied, but after a few minutes, the pigment becomes completely budge-proof that only a makeup remover can take it off. On the other hand, the lipsticks are creamy and buildable, which can be as bold as you wish with a few more swipes!
4. Its price tag won’t break the bank
Vice’s Good Vibes Matte Lipsticks retail for P195, and his Phenomenal Liquid Lip Kits cost P295. For an everyday lipstick, these prices aren’t bad. In fact, it can even be your new drugstore dupe for Kylie Jenner’s lip kits.
5. The local brand celebrates diversity
The range of colours goes from deliciously dark to nudes that flatter everyone. “Beauty has to be everyone. It has to be all of us. It has to be your own definition of beauty kaya “Ganda For All”. Beauty is inclusive, regardless of your age, gender or profession. Beauty does not discriminate”, Vice shares.
