After Liz Uy’s Vogue feature about her style guide, another Filipina It Girl takes the spotlight. Anne Curtis, as Vogue describes her, is a style star with an enviable online presence–merging fashion, beauty, and travel into one complete package. True enough, she makes it too easy for us to double tap her Instagram posts, whether it may be her OOTDs decked out in a Gucci ensemble or a Korean-inspired outfit, or maybe just her trips around the world.
Featuring the Filipina-Aussie’s background, Vogue also mentioned how Anne started out in the industry. Starting from her breakthrough fantasy drama Kampanerang Kuba to her current variety show, It’s Showtime.
Unlike others who have to try to make their feeds extra-glamorous, it comes quite effortless for Anne–she’s an actress, It girl, and endorser, after all. But above all that, she keeps it real online (in case you haven’t heard, she’s very much open to showing off her fangirling side as a K-pop fan). As Vogue puts it, “By striking the right balance between luxury and normalcy, Curtis showcases a style that is feminine, modern, and well worth the follow”.

She is the quintessential IT girl. A breath of fresh air with an extraordinary appeal that traverses all ages and social brackets, she brought an entire new brand to the leading lady role. Her personality is as effusive as her sparkling career and she carries this wherever she goes. She has the natural ability to position herself as a style icon through her work, and because of this, she is unforgettable. These are stories of #MEGAIconicWomen spanning different generations and paradigms. Coming together in an unprecedented effort that culminates in a tapestry of stories that is aspirational as it is inspiring, this is the #MEGAStory. #CelebrateMEGA25 #CelebrateMegaAnneCurtis #MegaIconicWomen

The Fall of Seasons
“THERE ARE NO MORE SEASONS IN FASHION.” This was my statement to the MEGA editorial team during the September issue story conference, which generated varied reactions from the subjects in attendance. Jaws dropped, some eyes enlarged, while most looked perplexed. For the Big Fashion issue, the team was expecting a regurgitated trend typical of this cyclical industry or a dictate from influencers who have the […]
