Beyonce is probably the most influential female musician of our time and whatever she wears, it certainly creates a buzz, such as the sportswear outfit she donned in an Instagram post a month ago for Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. tour featuring a yellow Fila top. The sunny-hued cropped t-shirt got the internet scouring for it online and flew off digital shelves pretty quickly following the star’s photo.
Now, after giving birth to twins Sir and Rumi after 2 months, Queen Bey kicked off celebrations of her 36th birthday at the Budweiser’s Made In America Festival in Philadelphia wearing head to toe Gucci. She supported husband Jay-Z who headlined the music event, and sister Solange, who was also performing. The ensemble was in true Beyonce fashion – the mother of 3 rocked the label’s classic cap, metallic Kingsnake pumps with silver ankle-high socks, and a puffy sleeved jacket (controversially) inspired by hip hop couturier, Dapper Dan from the Gucci 2018 Cruise ‘New Renaissance’ range which she paired with a simple printed tee and Daisy Dukes.
But other than the trendy ensemble, what got social media hype is her photo with up-and-coming hip hop artist, Cardi B. Bey came out to support the Bodak Yellow rapper and fans are already calling out for a collaboration. The two actually had similar outfits with Cardi sporting a silver flapper dress, sort of coordinating with Beyonce’s shoe combination and only proves that these music goddesses are on top of the Fall trend game with sterling silver and metallics.
