Currently, Mayhoola controls Valentino, has a stake in Anya Hindmarch and is reportedly eyeing Balmain — all fashion houses with successful designers already in place, which makes it unlikely that Mayhoola is courting Slimane to handle an existing brand. FRANCISCO COSTA IS LEAVING CALVIN KLEIN
After 12 years designing the womenswear collections, Francisco Costa will be leaving Calvin Klein Collection. Italo Zucchelli, men’s creative director, will also depart the company. The brand said that the changes are part of an effort to “unify all Calvin Klein brands under one creative vision,” which began with the reacquisition of its jeans and underwear business in 2013.
