Dreaming Of A Natural Flush? Here’s How To Do It

Forget about the classic beauty rule of “apply the blush on the apples of your cheeks” because blush just got a lot more playful. By this we mean, going overboard with the pinks. Looking back at Chanel‘s spring 2017 runway, every muse sported pink powder on their cheekbones up past the temples and onto their lids. Of course, it wasn’t too soon until our go-to style stars got the memo too. From Miranda Kerr‘s blushing lids on her wedding day to our local star’s ultra-sun-kissed cheeks, it seems like this trend isn’t leaving soon.

Applying blush on not just the apple of your cheeks creates the most natural-looking flush. After all, your skin’s natural redness isn’t only visible on one area of your face. So if you’re going to fake it, you might as well cop its natural look.
To get the look, swipe the blush on the bridge of the nose, cheeks, and lids. The romantic flush that envelopes the face creates the illusion of a post-vacation glow, instead of an obviously applied blush on.

With the cooler temperatures ahead, there’s no better way to maintain that flush than with this out-of-the-ordinary application.
