After stepping out on the red carpet in what you’d imagine a modern day princess would wear now–from an edgy plunging jumpsuit to a sophisticated caped gown–Emma Watson finally channeled her inner Belle of Beauty and the Beast in her latest ensemble.
For a reading at the New York Film Society for Kids, Emma wore an ethereal Yellow Dior Haute Couture dress. Although not a complete copy of the iconic ball gown, its toned down interpretation might just be every minimalist girl’s dream gown.
Dior went for a simple A-Line silhouette with almost invisible straps instead of the off-shoulder and draping details that gave Belle’s gown a dramatic effect. And as Emma had been wearing sustainable clothing for her entire press tour, it’s no surprise that she requested the Dior dress to be eco-friendly too!
