At the Ford Theatre Annual Gala, First Lady Melania Trump had set aside her tailored coat dresses for a softer creation by none other than Filipino Designer Monique Lhuillier. The champagne-hued dress from the designer’s Resort collection–which comes with a $2,595 price tag–featured a Grecian-inspired draping, which serves as the main highlight of the entire frock. Although it’s a simple silhouette, the shiny silk fabric was enough to turn heads at the gala.
Melania only needed to add a pair of champagne-colored Manolo Blahnik heels and minimal jewelry to the mix and it was a winning combo for a look that embodies low-key elegance.
