1. Charmed Laces
Tap childhood strings and get yourself sneakers that did all the talking, one charm at a time! Back when charms where on our feet, our laces were the ones that were blinged out with dazzling trinkets. Give your usual sneakers an upgrade by adding dangling charms into your laces.
2. Tropical Slip
One thing’s for sure: the kids section have the best printed sneakers. Match the sweltering heat with tropical slip-ons to cool down your feet. Give your little sister’s OOTD a fresh vibe with canvas sneakers that match the summer season!
3. Bring Back Velcro
Ahh yes, Velcro. A definite 90s kid must-have for shoes, back when laces were boring and slip-ons haven’t reached it’s era. Introduce the carefree Velcro-strapped days to the younglings with a modern black bootie with a stick-on strap.
4. Hidden Mickey
Reincarnate the era of iconic cartoons, by including your favorite cartoon character to your OOTD. Our suggestion? Subtly integrate a cartoon character to one piece of clothing or an accessory. Show off that hidden Mickey of yours!
5. 90s Minnie
Give your mini-me an added boost with thick-soled sneakers, fresh from the 90s. Add personality to the usual white sneaker by adorning the shoe with your favorite cartoon character for design.
6. Periwinkle Kicks
Soft-hued sneakers give your overall OOTD a more vibrant feel without being too loud with your footwear. Choose pastel hues that are all the rage especially for the summer season.
7. Mauve Grey
For a simpler approach, choose a sneaker than can easily blend with the nude trend of 2017. Mauve-hued sneakers can be paired with neutrals like white, blue, and brown.
8. Comic Relief
Carry an all-basic OOTD and let your loud prints shine in your sneakers. Scavenge the shelves and racks for prints by your favorite artist or your favorite storybook character. Dr. Seuss perhaps?
