As soon as the news on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement popped up, the Suits actress has been the talk of the town. She is, after all, preparing for a new life as a Royal–a dream for some ladies. During their official press interview, everyone couldn’t help but notice the bride-to-be’s blooming face, and most especially, her nose. In fact, they love Markle’s nose so much that they’re using it as their peg before undergoing plastic surgery.
“Patients started coming to me about six months ago requesting Meghan Markle’s nose’, New York Plastic Surgeon Stephen T. Greenberg told Allure. But unlike the ‘Kylie Jenner Effect’ where patients have been aiming for perfectly plump lips, the goal isn’t a flawless look this time. “She has a pretty great nose, but I think the beauty of it is that it isn’t perfect. From the profile you can see that she has a very slight dorsal hump of the nose that is almost undetectable when looking at her straight on.”
This plastic surgery trend is weirdly empowering. Given that our generation has been so exposed to the “Instagram beauty”, which is often synonymous to an almost “perfect” face, it’s refreshing to see someone have a different influence on people–the kind that promotes natural beauty.
