The world has practically watched Emma Stone grow into a classic Hollywood actress. At the beginning of her career, the 28-year-old had breakthrough roles in films like Superbad, Zombieland and Easy A. But apart from her girl-next-door roles, Watson has emerged as a star who embodies elegance with her style.
The French fashion house confirmed the announcement last Saturday on Instagram, as they posted a photo of Watson with Louis Vuitton’s artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière with a caption saying, “#LouisVuitton is delighted to announce Emma Stone as the latest ambassador for the Maison. A muse and friend of Louis Vuitton Women’s Artistic Director @NicolasGhesquiere, Emma prepares to walk the red carpet for her latest movie #BattleoftheSexes in a #LVSS18 gown.”
According to Page Six, Louis Vuitton has been pursuing Emma for almost a year, as well as La La Land co-star, Ryan Gosling. Unfortunately, the latter has been turning down the luxury brand’s offer as he doesn’t do endorsement deals. As for Emma, all the waiting has been evident to be a good move as the two-year deal with LV is reportedly worth between $6-10 million.
Expressing his excitement for the partnership, Nicolas Ghesquière also posted a snap with Emma on his personal Instagram.
Stepping out as the face of the brand for the first time, Emma wore a stunning off-shoulder Louis Vuitton dress accented with small crystals and chains for the 2017 BFI London Film Festival. The actress is another great addition to the team of stylish ambassadors for Louis Vuitton, as she joins the likes of Selena Gomez and Alicia Vikander.
