ZALORA, Asia’s online fashion destination, is proud to announce its partnership with new activewear brand Ivy Park. The brand is a partnership and stand-alone brand created by Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green, owner of Arcadia Group, UK’s largest fashion retailer. Designed to inspire and empower women, Ivy Park debuts on ZALORA with the Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Fashion fans in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand can shop the collection on ZALORA from 15th April 2016.
Ivy Park Spring/Summer 2016 range comprises technical sportswear and casualwear which centres around a core of three legging shapes which are made from a sweat wicking, non-pilling, double faced polyamide elastane designed to enhance every body type. The core of the collection is bolstered by ‘second skin’ signature pieces including fitted tank tops with concealed, inbuilt sports bras, seamless knits, body suits as well as sweatshirts, cotton jersey vests and tees, accessories and outerwear. The colour palette for this season features grey marl, jet black, cobalt, coral and pale pink. Made of high performance fabrics and custom designed graphic prints throughout collection, the clothes are appropriate for both athletic and leisure activity.
Talking about the collection Beyoncé shares: “Sir Philip has created some amazing collaborations but I wanted a partnership and a stand-alone brand. When I’m working and rehearsing I live in my work out clothes but I didn’t feel there was an athletic brand that spoke to me. My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspired women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance. True beauty is in the health of our minds, hearts, and bodies. I know that when I feel physically strong, I’m mentally strong and I wanted to create a brand that made other women feel the same way.”
