Louis Vuitton’s Latest Collection Takes You To Japan

Set at the futuristic Miho museum, Louis Vuitton‘s latest collection paid tribute to its creative director Nicolas Ghesquière’s love for the Japanese culture.

The collection combined Japanese-inspired elements and the fashion label’s sleek tailoring, creating a rebellious, badass feel to each piece. Collaborating with Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto, sparkly sequin frocks were embellished with Kabuki masks, and jackets featured embellishments resembling a classic Japanese scenery (think clouds, trees and pines). Of course, given that its Louis Vuitton, they didn’t miss out on the accessories. They brought new life to classic bag silhouettes by adding a touch of Japanese art like Kabuki-inspired patterns and prints!
