From dyeing her locks in unicorn-inspired hues to adding different colors to it every two months (her current shade is purple, btw), Camille Co clearly has been living out the hair color of her dreams. But despite her constant switch of shade, this blogger’s locks still look as fresh and vibrant as any girl with dyed hair aims for. Luckily, we got to catch up with Camille herself, and she shared these tricks on how to keep her locks from fading:
1. Wash your colored hair the right way.
“When it comes to my colored hair, I use shampoos that are not so harsh (like those that are sulfate-free) so it wouldn’t fade out too quickly. Also, to extend the life of my hair color, I don’t wash my locks everyday”. Basically, the less process, the less it breaks. The more you shampoo, the more you potentially strip off natural oils that keep the scalp moisturized.
2. Treat your tresses.
“I use a lot of treatments and serums to keep it as moisturized as possible. For my shampoo and conditioner, I use the summer rescue 3-minute miracle of Pantene, and I also use Japanese serums. I treat my hair every three days”.
