Why Vice Cosmetics Is Your Next Dupe On Kylie’s Lip Kits

Out of all the trends that we’ve seen come and go, it seems like liquid lipsticks have officially become a millennial beauty staple. Since the launch of Kylie’s lip kits two years ago (yes, it’s been that long), our Instagram feeds have been dominated by gloss-less, nude pouts–and of course, everyone (most especially makeup brands) took notice.

Just recently, Vice Ganda launched his own unkabogable lipstick line, and among the range of creamy lip shades, what caught our attention the most is its long-wearing liquid lipsticks, no less.

If you’re currently on a tight budget, you’ve come to the right place. Here, we give you a lowdown on why this local brand’s liquid lipsticks are your new drugstore dupe for Kylie’s lip kits

Given that Kylie Cosmetics has been here for as long as we know it, there’s a wider shade options (so far, there are over 40+ shades).

Although Vice Cosmetic’s only have 8 shades available, the range of colours goes from deliciously dark to nudes. Going through the colors, however, we noticed that Vice cosmetics offers a more vibrant pop of color, compared to Kylie’s lip kits which deliver a subdued, grungy feel with its cool undertones.

So far, here are the closest possible dupes!

Vice Cosmetic’s Phenomenal liquid lip kit is being sold for only P295, while Kylie Cosmetic’s lippies cost around PHP 1,392.

If you’re looking for budge-proof formulas, both brands perfected that beauty aspect. They offer the same velvety texture on the lips, which can only be fully taken off with makeup remover. The only difference is their lip liners–Kylie’s version is a lot creamier, and it doesn’t tug the lips. But overall, if lip liners are the least of your worries, Vice Ganda’s liquid lipsticks are definitely not far from Kylie’s.
