A few weeks ago, Dolce & Gabbana unveiled a limited edition $110 pasta in collaboration with Italian brand Pastificio di Martino. And it seems like the mundane, everyday luxury is still in play as designers continue to turn regular items into extravagant creations. Most recently, luxury brand Helmut Lang hopped on to the trend with its newest accessory: a metallic freezer bag.
After their controversial trash bag that was being sold for $450, they’re back with another intriguing release. Inspired by the insulation used in actual freezer bags, the brand released a silver handbag that’s made out of a metallic woven–the material that keeps food safe from damage. The tote bag also features a small Helmut Lang logo just slightly below the handle.
This certainly is different from other handbags and it’s not far too impossible that adventurous fashion girls would cop this shiny mini purse.
The Helmut Lang freezer bag could be a part of your wardrobe (or fridge), with 2 sizes retailing for $295 for the mini and $320 for the regular size. It’s available for purchase online at helmutlang.com
