If there’s anyone who has purveyed many fashion trends and has cemented herself as a true style icon, it’s the bad gal herself, Rihanna. It’s no surprise that even the CFDA has recognized her as a fashion icon, as she is never one to simply follow trends.
Back in 2015, the singer collaborated with sock company Stance on a number of designs, including a range of knee high and thigh high socks with graphics and ribbons. But for her latest creation with the brand, Rihanna designed pieces inspired by her iconic looks as seen on music videos and award shows. The Fenty x Stance capsule line for 2017 includes two sets. In the first set called the Rihanna Music Video Box, there is one striking pair that features her mesh Tommy Hilfiger dress from her hit song with Drake called “Work”.
Meanwhile, the Rihanna Awards Show Box comes with two tributes to her best red carpet ensembles, particularly the show-stopping (and controversial) Adam Selman sheer glitter dress from the 2014 CFDA Awards. The other pair spotlights her ethereal, bold yellow Guo Pei gown from the 2015 Met Gala, which has been a favorite of many fashion critics and enthusiasts alike.
The novelty socks, both from old and new collections, are now available to purchase online at stance.com/rihanna with each set retailing for $48 or $24 per pair.
